Seattle Area Alterhumans +

Welcome to the landing site for our budding social group. Seattle Area Alterhumans+ aims to serve those in the Greater Seattle Area who experience things that may be considered 'alternative' to the common societal idea of what it means to "be human" - also known as "alterhumans" or those with an "Alternative Humanity Personal Identity," (as defined by Lio (The Crossroads System) in 2014.) Those who consider themselves alterhuman may see themselves as not human, partially human, 'more than' human, more than one/multiple, connected strongly to certain things in a way that impacts their identity, or much more. This is meant to be a broad and inclusive group, not a club - if you think this term or community fits you, you're welcome to try it out. All who are respectful & can co-exist with the wide spectrum of beliefs present are welcome.

This is a small passion project by two alterhumans just starting in 2026! Our goal is to host varied social events like meetups, art jams, hikes/walks, etc. for all critters, creatures, & beings of all shapes, shades, & sizes. We want to bring our local community together consistently to provide support to each other and find ways to cope, thrive, share our pride, & spread awareness. We also hope to contribute to & improve the world around us by organizing environmentally-based activities like nature/trash clean-ups, planting parties, etc.
